Calvary offers adults opportunities for spiritual growth and relationship building through sermons, Bible studies, and activities. |

Specialized Ministries There are a number of specialized outreaches at Calvary Baptist Church. Our Bus Ministry provides transportation to those without and to children whose parents do not attend church. The Pathfinders Department offers Bible teaching and activities for the learning impaired. The Jail Ministry ministers to those at a state correctional facility in our town. Many men have been truly corrected by the Righteous Judge of all the Earth through this needful ministry. We also have a nursing home ministry at four area nursing homes and chapel services at our local hospital. The third Monday of every month our church also conducts a service at the Peoria Rescue Mission reaching out to the homeless in downtown Peoria. Finally, one of our most important ministries here at Calvary Baptist Church is our Christ centered addictions program called Reformers Unanimous, held every Friday night from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Our Church Book Store has in stock Bibles, religious books, pamphlets and DVDs....We will take special requests and order the items that you especially want, if they are not in stock....These items are sold to you at our cost.
We have recently installed a new Audio System for the hearing impaired. We provide a
pocket size device with adjustable volume control and an ear piece. We now have happy
parishioners attending services that normally would not attend church due to hearing loss.
If this is your problem, come try us out. These handy little devices are available in our
book store which is open before Sunday's services.
If your home has a computer or you use one elsewhere, we would like you to pass our

Our nursery and
pre-kindergarten programs provide a safe, stimulating environement for children to learn
about God. We teach children the basic truths about God and scripture. Little ones will
receive the spiritual training and excellence in care they deserve from our dedicated
nursery/pre-kindergarten staff. 
At Calvary Baptist Church
we care about children. They are taught creative, age appropriate lessons for a solid
spiritual foundation. Our small class structure allows individual attention to be given to
each child by a qualified Sunday School teacher. We also offer a children's church program
and the best Vacation Bible School in Fulton County. 
Calvary Baptist Academy
involves students and families from Calvary Baptist Church. Classes range from K-5 through
the 12th grade. 
Teenagers
will find an extensive youth ministry program designed to help them through the difficult
years of adolescence. This is where teenagers get much of their spiritual energy to
sustain them through the many complex challenges they face at school and in other areas of
life. We offer relevant messages and specialized programs to help them grow spiritually.
We also attend summer camp and national youth conferences. 
Singles have the opportunity
to form close friendships with other Chistian singles. Whether never married or single
again, the singles participate in an array of activities and get-togethers in Christian
settings. Singles enjoy Sunday School classes that encourage growth in relationships with
the Lord and other singles. Single men and women will discover the truth of God's Word and
how it applies to their lives. 
Our women's ministry
encourages women to grow closer to the Lord, their families, and each other in every
season of life. Women learn about their biblical role as wife and mother. They learn how
to balance a family , home, work, and church in spite of today's busy lifestyles. Women
build authentic relationships with other women through Sunday School classes, our Women's
Missionary Society and an annual Ladies Spectacular. 
Men in today's world need many resources in order
to be better fathers, husbands, and work associates. The men of Calvary Baptist Church
support and challenge one another as well as build accountability through our weekly
soul-winning outreach, a weekly prayer time, and our annual trip to a Preaching Conference
in March.
